Canon expands its B2B and B2C Integrated Approach Program to the Northern Emirates

Canon, the global leader in imaging solutions, hosted its first-ever System Integrators and Value-Added Resellers (SI-VAR) event in the Northern Emirates. This event was part of Canon’s B2B and B2C Integrated Approach Program, designed to empower and support its partners in the UAE. The SI-VAR event incorporated a loyalty programme, product training and business strategies that enable partners to confidently offer their customers Canon’s superior solutions and services.

The SI-VAR event is a component of Canon’s broader strategy to get closer to the customer and is designed to enable business partners to achieve greater success. As part of this event, Canon showcased some of its hero models and products and explained its Perfect Choice Partner program. Canon ensures highest standards of service by providing delivery, installation and service directly to its partners and customers without the use of intermediaries.

The SI-VAR event held on 11th May 2023 at Marjan Islands in Ras Al Khaimah showcased Canon's entire print and scan product line up inviting attendees to engage with and experience the products and solutions. The display of products included A4 laser printers, inkjet printers, A3 copiers, and more.  With over 100 government and private organizations participants and more than 90 resellers across the Northern Emirates the event provided extensive product demonstrations and strong insights into Canon’s offerings in the system integrator and value added reseller space.

Commenting on strengthening the brand and its relationships with end consumers, Mohamed Elbahrawy, Regional Sales Manager at Canon Middle East said: “The Northern Emirates is a focus market, and we have seen a double-digit growth in partners through this program. Our key customers and influencers are initiated into the program through an understanding of the benefits of our integrated approach to imaging and printing. At the event, we presented the features and benefits of our enhanced range of products, including newer models and technologies positioning Canon as the one-stop-shop for all printing and scanning needs.”

Speaking about the success of the program, Ahlam Azhar, Regional Sales Director at Canon Middle East, said: “The SI-VAR event helped us initiate strong partner integration and provided inroads into the Northern Emirates market to establish Canon as a strong brand there. We have successfully grown our revenue by double in 2022 over 2021 and estimate to grow by 30% in 2023 driven by programs such as this. Our USPs were well received by the resellers, and they appreciated the benefits on offer. This included warranty, after sales service, and delivery installation among others. They were also enthusiastic about the wide range of our products that cater to diverse printing and scanning needs.”
